Alligators are very succesful survivors from way back on the evolutionary tree.This one carries himself with a wonderful quirkiness in his gait. No-one with any sense is going to mess with one of these reptiles. This guy has been around so long he has discovered the secret to happiness. The painting was inspired by a trip to the Louisiana swamps.
