Hell Money
Jesse Helms supposedly wanted to promote American "decency" values by censoring artists while being a major lobbyist for tobacco companies. I found his idea of decency highly questionable. The currency was designed using Illustrator.

Bible Studies
Snapshot of my Mills College MFA thesis exhibition "Bible Studies" indicating the Ten Plagues of Exodus wallpaper created in Illustrator and then hand silkscreened, seven needlepoint canvases of the seven deadly sins (see below), and an animation movie exploring Judeo/Christian iconography and cultural confusion.

Ten Plagues of Exodus Wallpaper
Passover was always my favorite holyday and yet there was always something disturbing about the plagues visited on the Egyptians, some of whom were innocent of Pharoahs's enslavement of the Jews. Making this wallpaper I asked myself at what point is art or religion comfort or decoration and at what point something authentic and meaningful? These images and the short film which followed later were a response to this.
