This is a portrait of a boy/girl I saw on Haight Street in San Francisco where a lot of run away kids hang out.
He reminded me of parts of myself at that age- lost, withdrawn, trying not to care.
I did a 'twin' picture at the same time, of a girl who could be his sister or girlfiend or friend (Rain).
