I began making videos in the late 1990s while doing my MFA at Mills College. My teacher was Gayle Wight who I adored and still do. Below are some of the videos that I made.

I made this video exploration of Judeo/Christian iconography and symbolism to explore similarities and difference as part of my MFA work. Because it's a copy of a copy, it's a little on the distressed side, but I don't mind it.

This animation uses drawings that I created to animate the idea of Passover as a time of both joy and celebration at the the release of the Jewish people from Pharoah's bondage and slavery, with a question about the cost of that liberation. Because it's a copy of a copy it's a bit distressed, which makes it more interesting for those with patience.

This is a more recent video that I made about children's picture book author and illustrator Maya Gonzalez who I also adore. It was one of the first video articles published in an academic journal and comes with an accompanying transcript and bibliography of Maya's books.
